Our fundraising runs on the creativity, resourcefulness, and much appreciated volunteer work of Monarch families. Here are a few opportunities to get involved:
• Help the Auction team solicit items and experiences for the auction!
• Volunteer your time the day-of to help run Dia De Los Niños and the Color Fun Run!
• Got connections? Local businesses provide many of our event sponsorships and donations - coordinate with MCB President Jason Aronson to see if we already have an existing relationship!
Even if you don’t volunteer, you can always give your support by showing up.
Parent Pledges help close the budget gap between what we expect to raise through events, drives, and all other sources. This year our goal is $15k.
If 50% of families gave $25 a month per student (or $300 a year) we would surpass our yearly goal!
Many local for-profit employers offer a cash match to both donated money and in some cases donated volunteer time (including classroom hours!)
• Confirm if your company matches by reaching out to MCB Fundraising. Nearby companies already confirmed to participate include Apple, Google, Netflix, LinkedIn, and SalesForce.
• Submit your donations and volunteer hours for a match every time. Apple and Google are confirmed to offer volunteer hours match for time spent in classroom or doing parent jobs!
Run a new event like a Pancake Breakfast, Friday Popcorn, or many other great ideas from the community that need a leader to make them happen!
New ideas that you can own and drive are always welcome!
